I get asked just about every day why I write about costumes. It’s harder to explain that than it is to actually do.

Costumes are a way of escape. We don’t realize just how big a part they play in our lives. MyDisguises was created with the idea in mind that we could bring people content original enough to get interested in costuming on a level beyond the typical holiday costume.

MyDisguises is a place to slip into something a little less comfortable, a little less yourself, but a lot more fun and interesting.
